Hotel Description:
The Harcourt Hotel is located on fashionable Harcourt Street, just off Southwest corner of Stephen's Green. It is serviced by the Lusas (tram line) with Grafton Street one stop to the north and Dundrum Town Centre and Sandyford to the South. The Hotel comprises of eight Georgian buildings, one of which is the original home of George Bernard Shaw.
The hotel restaurant is part of a popular Dublin chain of restaurants called 'Little Caesars'. The restaurant's menu can be viewed on www.littleceasar.ie. As well as Italian cuisine there is a fine range of international dishes. For lighter meals there is always the option of bar food available 7 days a week and a carvery lunch served from Monday to Friday inclusive.
The Hotel is best described as lively particularly at the weekend. The hotel is host to a large bar 'D-two' with a nightclub by the same name that operates typically Wednesday to Sunday inclusive. Our landscaped beer garden with split level and outdoor bar is operational year round thanks to all weather features including gas and infrared heating. BBQ's feature in season.
Hotel Accommodation:
The hotels bedrooms are complete with direct dial telephones, multi channel TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and iron and ironing board or garment press. Over fifty per cent of our rooms are in the main hotel with the balance of rooms one door away in what we refer to as the new wing. This is especially but not exclusively true of weekends. Although the hotel does not have a car park, there is a special over night rate available under 5 Euro locally. Street parking is free from 7.00pm to 7.00am & all day Sunday and bank holidays.
